46 years in IT. Before consulting, I spent over three decades in the private sector (GE) and the public sector (State of New York), in roles spanning developer, DBA, systems developer, quality manager, webmaster, and manager of development and enterprise architecture, culminating as Director of IT for the State of New York. I've led small and large teams through every phase of the software lifecycle, and my background in object-oriented design and enterprise architecture gives me a whole-system view of the problems I'm asked to solve.
